We connect South African chrome producers with international buyers, and manage the chain in between — sourcing, verification, logistics and warehousing.
Run of mine chrome ore, sourced directly from producers. Suited to buyers with their own processing capacity or established beneficiation arrangements.
Processed chrome concentrate to buyer specification. Grade, moisture content and chrome-to-iron ratio confirmed before material is committed to a shipment.
Specifications are confirmed in writing before any deal proceeds. Where a buyer has particular grade or ratio requirements, we source against those requirements rather than placing whatever is available.
Direct relationships with South African miners and producers. We match material to buyer requirements rather than pushing whatever is currently on offer.
Secure, tracked transport from warehouse to port. Chrome logistics in South Africa has well-known risk points, and we work with carriers who have a record of managing them.
Storage while a shipment is consolidated or while documentation and payment terms are finalised, so material is not sitting in an uncontrolled environment.
Buyer confirms material type, grade specification, volume and delivery terms. Producer-side availability is confirmed against that specification before anything is quoted.
Pricing, payment terms and Incoterms agreed in writing between the parties. Nothing moves on a verbal arrangement.
Material sampled and assayed. Grade and moisture confirmed against the agreed specification before loading, not after arrival.
Transport arranged from warehouse to port, with tracking and documentation maintained through the chain.
Export documentation completed and shipment coordinated. Both parties kept informed through to loading.
Buyers in China and elsewhere have no shortage of people offering South African chrome. What is scarce is a counterparty who verifies material before committing it, who knows which carriers actually deliver, and who is still answering the phone when something goes wrong.
On the producer side, the same holds in reverse. A broker is only useful if the buyer is real, the terms are honoured, and the material leaves the yard on the agreed date.
We keep a small book of counterparties for exactly that reason.
Buying or placing material — tell us the specification, volume and timeline, and we will come back to you.
